Bastard Mike started Municipal Audio in April of '05.  He previously ran another successful promotion company which threw house parties in excess of 500 heads.  He promoted these underground and ran 2 rooms of dnb featuring the most successful dnb djs of Dallas.  He later decided to take his venture into a legal setting and started up a weekly at Club Inferno which he also managed.  Later on Bastard Mike joined up with Baby Ruthless the weekly ended up @ Texas Jive on Wednesday's.  This spot has been the only source of electronic music in Denton Texas where it is ruled by bands and emo fags.  Municipal Audio now throws mulitiple large scale shows in Dallas and maintains a residency @ Texas Jive on Wednesdays and  monthly @ Wax in Deep Ellum.

I broke my arm a few months back skating but had a lot of shows coming up. My whole arm was in a cast so I said fuck it; the shows will go on and just dj'ed with one hand. It suprised some people but it put the odds against me which is what I welcome sometimes. I also decided to record a series of mixes entitled the left handed series but my armed healed in a week and a half, and all that was done was Radar. So it ended up being Volume Zero since Vol One might indicate a crappy sequel. This is mainly heavy anthems I was diggin at the time.

Starting @ a show in Lewisville, Ruthie and I were booked to play a set together.  We've always played back to back but not together live and the crowd loved it.  Sensing that there was something there and due to many people's requests for us to play together more we did and now most shows we do.  This is our first album together; we worked very hard on it and hope you guys enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it.
