Budda FX started his DJ career while still in High School at the young age of 16 at the now infamous 5th Column nightclub, Washington DC in 1991. Demonstrating an uncanny ability to command and drive a dance floor at such a young age, he continued to develop his style of funky house and incorperated many other styles of music to become a crowd pleaser well into the next decade.
In 1997 Budda FX joined the production team "f(x) productions" in Norfolk, Virginia as their production manager. With his help, f(x) quickly set the bar as one of the best production groups in the Mid-Atlantic region and became the #1 production team in the state of Virginia. With a fan base from Washington DC to South Carolina and expanding as far west as W. Virginia, their weekly event FLOOD continuously packed the house with headliners such as, Bad Boy Bill, John Acquaviva, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Simpley Jeff, Mickey Finn, Freaky Flow & MC Flipside just to name a few. They also encorporated rotating resident DJ's Charles Feelgood, Scott Henry, Nigel Richards, and Prime Mover aka Tasha every other week. Dominating the EDM scene year after year, f(x) productions entered a joint endevor with Chad Hugo, producer of the Neptunes, and proudly presented FLASHFLOOD in the newly developed venue, THE NORVA, in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. The first event was an overwhelming success selling out the 2500 + venue, an unheard of accomplishment at the time and place for Electronic Music. After a few more years of continued success the production team ceased their efforts due to local government efforts to shut down any and all EDM events in the area.
Budda FX now resides in the Las Vegas valley and continues to drive dance floors well into the early morning hours. Encorporating electro with his personally tailored funky sound he continues to perform at many of the premiere venues in Las Vegas including Empire Ballroom, Brass Lounge, and the Icehouse. He currently holds a residency at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino at thier Ultra Pool on Saturday's entertaining the 1000's of guests there every week. He is also a member of Pan Am DJ's with fellow artists Chuck B and Prime Mover on the HiJack Record Label. Be sure to look out for Budda FX and this dynamic trio as they have been known to Funk Up many a parties...
