Well, enough people have asked me if I write music, so I'm putting a monkey load of music online. Feel free to burn it, trash it, eat it, whatever...

This site is pretty much an online archive of selective works from the many eras of my playing and writing. Naturally, some of it is better than others. I think my voice, once described as '...a cross between Tom Jones and a pile of bricks', sounds much better now than on most of these recordings, many of which are over a decade old. That being said, I'm going to try to keep adding material (new and old) to the site on a semi-regular basis. TURN IT UP!

Also, go to the different "albums" to check out the different eras, some of which have a dozen or more songs.  There is MUCH more music on here than on just this page, all sounding pretty different.  So just look around.

Ziegfeld Opening Night for SITH
Description:
I recorded the crowd for the first showing of Revenge of the Sith at the historic Ziegfeld Theater in NYC. It was quite an experience, with the emcee in drag and all. You had to be there.

Knob Central - The Scoops Are On Their Way (live)
Description:
Bar none, my favorite Knob Central song and probably my favorite song on this website. Therefore, I moved it to the start page. I really miss playing this one. I'd like to revamp with another band someday, but I'd still want the same vibe for the most part.

Complacent Smurf (5-20-04)
Description:
A totally stripped down no frills version. Recorded with the Little Rocker straight into my minidisc. Meant for full band. Maybe someday . . .

Older song with new arrangement and newly recorded. I shaved FOUR minutes off the original version.

Roommates (and the need for a better plunger)
Description:
Here's one of the newer instrumentals. I really like this song even though its sounds more like background guitar music than anything else. Good music to fall asleep to. . .

Untitled Instrumental (4-30-04)
Description:
About the time I finished writing this song, I realized that I'd never be able to play this up to speed. Every note is meticulously placed and playing this start to finish at the preconceived tempo without messing up is simply beyond my skill level. I'm a firm believer in the idea that music shouldn't be "dumbed down" to meet the player where he/she is at. Until my skill level improves, here is a rough cut I put together just to have some sort of recorded version. There are some flubs and the tempo changes more than a St. George morning worship. But hey, it's only rock and roll.
