Here’s a bit of what I know about myself… I live in Central Oregon, USA. Which happens to be the sunny part of Oregon. I’m a full time working performer/musician/songwriter. I started playing drums when I was around 10. Then started writing songs on guitar when I was 15. My first album “Dear Love…” (on cassette) was only heard by me and probably 10 other people. I still have the original cassette, beware. Since then I’ve been in 3 bands. “Saneathean Tomb” from 1982 through 1985. “The Spinning” (1990-1991), and now The Substitutes. Don Hoxie and I started playing together in 1996. We are celebrating 10 great years together this year. Through the years I’ve written many many songs and recorded them on 4 track cassettes, and now digitally. On my solo albums I play all of the instruments, with the exception of a guest performer here and there. Please forgive me for not listing everyone who has contributed. There is a list of my albums on this site. They are all available. I will have samples of them here soon. My main influences are The Beatles, Dylan, Marc Bolan, The Church, East Indian music. I’ve been to Europe 8 times now. England, France, Wales, Belgium and Greece. I’ve played a few shows in Paris with the help of my French manager Herve Davoust after being persuaded by Caroline (My other half) to bring my guitar in 2004.  I am now writing new songs for a new album. Broken Tambourine (India)
Description:
Broken Tambourine (India)
Daylight surrounds you, all you see is gold
guided by innocence The sky and your clothes
Sandals from the mother land you’ve live on less than none
with an inner peace in your heart
From the desert to the sun

chalk it up to history it’s always been the same
on a train thru eternity shake your broken tambourine

A thousand miles of pilgrimage to bathe away impurities
Yesterday, tomorrow, today is all there is
Centuries of memories never loose there hold
the answer to the prison of skin you peel away your soul
