DJ Prolifix is an On Point Los Angeles Phenomenon. A lifelong turntablist, he has honed his skills into one of the finest DJ performers in America. He started as a founding member of The Helium Crew which in 1992 began to organize underground raves. At this time he was an in-demand Hardcore DJ specializing in tag-teaming with fellow Helium crew member Volume J. In 1994, as his Skills progressed, Prolifix needed a new sound that would let him incorporate his Hip Hop skills and influence, so he turned to Jungle. Starting from the ground up, he started on The Helium Crew Classic Jungle mixtape series “World War 3” volumes 1-3. 1998 brought the advent of a new label On Point Records. Prolifix as well as his Labelmates Malice, Syndakit, Devas, and DJ Virus celebrated the formation of On Point with the release of their double pack mix tape “Crossfader Innovators.” In 2000-2002 Prolifix was hired to demonstrate a new ground breaking technology known as Serato, since then, Prolifix has release a number of scratch tracks on different domestic and international labels.
