Music enables DJay Cee's soul to speak. You feel him when you hear him and you immediately understand the passion, love and respect he has for music. He's a new school cat with a lot of influence from the old school soul, even though his years don't say that. But you know it's true just by listening. He has been behind the CD Deck for about a year now developing his skills. Prior to that, his younger years were filled with music; he started collecting all kinds of music so that he could be the most versatile DJ in the world. Growing up with such a musical family opened he up to appreciating all types of music, from classical to Hip Hop. Once he was exposed to the clubs and house parties, he couldn't get enough of the beats. He was hooked immediately to the vibe, the crowd, the atmosphere, and the enjoyment. The impact of these experiences energized him and he knew one day he wanted to be able to contribute to this realm. It was only a matter of time before she purchased her first 'set-up' and began practicing the art of being a DJ. As his comfort level grew, He went from Bedroom DJ, to house parties, and then to clubs.
His focus is always about the feeling and the realness of the music and its message.
He's always approached this responsibility exactly the same way. He never plans a set. He's never routine or predictable. . He never just 'settles' for what's current or being played by every other DJ. He puts on a track and goes from there and gladly takes you with him. His versatility enables him to adapt to any crowd or environment. His style ranges from old school, R & B, Hip Hop, Soca, and Reggae. DJing has enabled him to get closer to the music and has given him the first opportunity to express all that he has to offer. Always looking to learn and broaden his horizons, his next step has included purchasing a home studio to produce and remix. This is just the beginning of his journey.
