Doc has been a DJ since the B-Boy days in the early 80’s. Raised in Germany where his career really took off performing at local dances, house parties, and mobile gigs around Europe and also held two nightclub residences. While in Germany , Doc entered his first DJ spin-off and won title of “All European DJ Champion” in 1988. In 1990, (back in the US) Doc held resident DJ for many clubs and won numerous awards such as, 1995 Southeast Regional Champion, 2nd place in the National DJ Spin-off in 1998 also in 1998 as well as 2001 and 2002 he won Southeast Regional DJ Spin-off Champion and voted Florida DJ of the Year in 98, 99, and 2000, and in 2001-2002 he was named Northwest Florida DJ of the Year.

Growing up break-dancing and spinning records like African-Bambattaa, Planet Patrol, Magic Mike, Megatron, Kraftwerk, Grandmaster Flash, Newcleus, Al Nafish, RUN DMC and other old school favorites literally took Doc Roc to the next level. This Hip Hop/Breakbeat-scratchmaster started remixing and producing his own original tracks out on various labels such as his own label (Solution Records), Remixing for Ultimix & Funkymix Records, along with many more.
Doc Roc has performed with major artist such as: Three 6 Mafia, Ying Yang Twins, Pitbull,Vanilla Ice,LL Cool J, Rob Base, DJ EZ Rock, Sir Mix-A-Lot, DJ Magic Mike, DJ Skribble,Dj Laz, Digital Underground, Coolio,Nappy Roots,Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and The Xecutioners, Yung Joc , to name few. In the electronic scene, artist such as Icey, Humpty Visson, Bad Boy Bill, Rabbit in the Moon, Dynamix 2, Baby Anne, Deepsky, Donald Gluade, & many more. He travels across country several times a year performing in front of thousands doing what he does best , rockin the crowds! During his off time Doc works in the studio producing his own style of club hype hip hop, Mash Up's remixes and original breakbeat floor rockers to play while he’s on the road that keeps him exclusive from the other dj’s. One thing to say about the D.O.C, if he’s in your town be ready to throw down and enjoy a show that you have never experience in your life!
