DJ Doug Started Dj'ing just for kicks in the mid 90's. Friend would let him use their equipment and vinyl to practice with. Once DJ Doug started he couldn't stop, always asking "can I spin for a bit." Living in York at it's height in the EDM era of the 90's gave Dj Doug a well diversed pallette of sounds that you can hear today in his track selection and style, which include house,trance,techno,breaks,DnB as well as jungle and downtemp. With great Dj's like Dj Newsense, Dj Elle, Dj Cache, Dj rickesse, Dj Mythos and DJ Oryn playing at the local spots every weekend, really inspired Dj doug to learn more and more about using the tables and creating seemless mixes. Dj Doug doesn't measure his success with how many gigs played or how much money is made, but by the simplest thing, the nod. To have Dj's and producers from around the world just give that simple nod it is like having the world in your hand.
