I was first introduced to the Rave scene back in 1994 and my life has never been the same. I was at some of the biggest parties in the North East during the peak of an era that I wish I could relive once again. I have never imagined that electronic music would become such a big part of my life. But it has and I been DJ-ing since 1995 mostly for private events and for personal entertainment. Unfortunately, the Rave scene built up a bad reputation over the years and authorities really cracked down on most parties. Over the past decade EDM has also become more mainstream and built a wide audience all over the world. The underground scene is still alive thanks to some dedicated and respected people who are keeping it real. Perhaps influence from the Netherlands, were the scene is bigger then ever one day will make its way to the USA. (ID&T and Q-dance).
Many artists influenced me over the year and I started making my own music in August 2000 using SF Acid and FruityLoops. You can listen to my Remix Tracks on Acidplanet.com or some of my original tracks on Music.Download.com click on the links or just search the sites for DJ Drei.
Making music is definitely something I really enjoy, but to me there is nothing like mixing vinyl on my Technics SL-1210MK2's.So check out my Mixsets Later!!!!

It has been a long time since I updated my DJ gear and it was time to buy a new mixer. I just received my Xone: 92 and I’m very happy with the mixer. I will be adding new Mixsets and also redoing some of my old Mixsets. So check back soon and look for a Xone:92 note in the mix description so you know its new or updated.

Update: 10/22/2007 It was time and I finally got a pair of CDJ 1000 MK3 for my setup. I will be adding new Mixsets so check it out. I now can also mix up some of my own tracks. Stay tuned....
Update: 1/17/2008 I added a new Mixset from a new DJ Forums Battle in the Featured folder. I used the CDJ's and some good old vinyl for this set. I'm pretty happy with the mix and I'm glad I finally expanded to use CD's as well. Check it. Gabber Battle Mix2
Update: 4/6/2008 I updated my production setup a bit. I added the Roland MV-8000, and Roland Juno-G. All I can say WOW way better then just using a PC. I added a new track I'm working on called Anthem in the Tracks Albums so check it out let me know what you think. Later!!!!
