As a senior Hip Hop DJ in Shanghai GuanDii club that is regarded as one of the classic Hip Hop night clubs, DJ G-Deep has his own insight to his music when he interpreted his work as follow:” It will be enough for me to make people dance, to make more people like Hip Hop as long as I am a DJ!” People can hardly stop their dancing in DJ G-Deep’s music when his larruping mixing Hip Hop and uncountable remixed Party Track have brought life to his music with its compact and smooth rhythm as well as the well-drilled skills of House music. Rock N Roll can also be found in G-Deep’s Hip Hop. In the last 4 years, he has experienced, contributed and witnessed the development of Hip Hop culture in Shanghai. At the end of 2003, DJ G-Deep and his band ‘ans-jump’ produced their first rap single. In 2004, he signed up with the Dragontongue Records, which is affiliated to the Kirin Kid Records, and released his first rap album in China. He insisted to become a Hip Hop DJ afterwards with the passion of the music and frequently showed up on the stage of many famous nightclubs such as Judy’s, Pegasus and GuanDii. With the transference of Hip Hop music from small hall to bigger hall; from a small group of people to a larger population, DJ G-Deep has also become the top DJ in GuanDii club. Meanwhile he is also the Guest DJ in many other famous clubs (Pegasus, V.I.P Room, Fabirque, Muse) etc, who has many loyal fans. G-Deep has cooperated with a numerous top international DJs including DJ Thrillseeker from UK (World Rank 87); Above and Beyond; DJ Pulser; Cheese Beat from Switzerland; DJ Ulysses from HongKong; DJ Whoo Kid from 50 cent and so on. Within the national wide, he assisted many concerts with a lot of well-known singers and bands such as Mayday; Weiber Pan’s 2005 shanghai concert; Jay Chou’s 2005 concert in Wenzhou, Nanjing and Zhengzhou, as well as Allen Iverson’s 2005 street basketball performance in China, and CBA ALL STAR Guest dj. DJ G-Deep mentioned “life is hard, but you have to face it with your smile.
