Musical Influences

My main music influence I can think of Frankie Knuckles and Tony Humphries. I was totally taken away when I first heard these guys and my life has never been the same.

Other DJ include Masters at Work, John Digweed, Carl Cox, David Guetta, Pete Tong, Hex Hector, Satoshi Tomie, and the list goes on and on.

Even before I could walk, I remember dancing to a song I heard on the radio, when I was just 1 year old. Music was in my blood and it showed at a very early age. I used to experiment with my uncle's turntables, as I could not afford gear at that age. But the real break came when I was invited to a friend party back in 1982. There was no music and I agreed to play. That night changed my life forever. Ever since then I was in demand and everyone wanted me to play at their events. I perfected the art of mixing songs but that changed when I saw Frankie Knuckles and Tony Humphries live. From that day onwards I tried to duplicate their style of mixing and blending songs but in turn created my own style and gained even a bigger demand eventually landing a few resident spots at verious clubs.

I took a long break from DJing after I almost lost my hearing, but the love of Djing never died, I was perfecting the art and trying to get better. In 2000, I came across a friend that remembered the "good old days". We got talking and I wanted to get back into DJing. I am back in style.

I got back into the music scene and started to DJ at Clubs as a guest DJ. I play mainly House and Deep House, with a few variations in between. Lately I discovered Time Coded Vinyl and Virtual DJ Software from Atomix Productions.

Now I play online, "LIVE", using Virtual DJ Software and my faithful Numark TTX turntables with Coded Vinyl. I am one of the resident DJ on Virtual DJ Radio and play every Sunday from 10:00pm to 11:00 pm (EST).
