Recent News 06.01.2007: I just wanted to let all my fans know that I just released my new mix titled Revealed..I feel it showcases my growth over the past seven years mixing..I hope you all enjoy it...take care...

Biography: Sebastian Anthony Arcabascio, also known as DJ Sebas Arcabascio was born on August 17th, 1972 in Southeastern Michigan . The youngest of three brothers, His oldest brother Mike Arcabascio died after only being born for two weeks due to a weak lung. The next to be born was Mike Arcabascio named after his older brother in memory. Vito Arcabascio + Antonina Arcabascio were both born in Sicily , Italy .

His true luv is 'Trance without a doubt” says Arcabascio...He quotes as saying “It just does something 2 me”…. Well whatever it is that it does we all can see it’s evident in his mixes.

In late 1998 at the age of 26 a close friend gave Arcabascio a cd that would forever change his view of music + life forever. The cd was ‘Tranceport’ + the artist was Paul Oakenfold. After listening to that cd Arcabascio wanted to explore + learn more about Electronic music + the art of mixing.

In early 1999 he started mixing various genres of music via CDJ mixing software [Sonic Foundry]. He soon realized by mixing various DJ sets together from various genres of music that he could create a unique genre of music.

In the summer of 2000 he went to Europe for two months to study Architecture, while in Europe he was exposed to European Techno Music + Discotech Clubs for the first time. The two months he spent in Europe would become invaluable + become the
foundation for his style of mixing.

His early influences were from such DJ’s as: Armin Van Buuren • The Chemical Brothers • Franky Bones • John Digweed • Paul Oakenfold • Paul Van Dyk • Pete Tong • Seb Fontaine • A young Tiesto + Underworld.

In Sept 2004 to May 2005 DJ Arcabascio to an extensive trip to europe once again this time to gain more exposure and fan base while also learning more about Euro House and Euro Dance.  He mainly lived in Barcelona , Spain for most of the trip. He stuck to smaller venues such as "Sugar", "Zoo" and "243 BCN". He also made a few apperances at "The Loft" a well know club in Barcelona , Spain .

Without a doubt, his ear for taking so many styles of music, Trance, Progressive Trance, House, Deep House, 2 Step, UK Garage and NY Dance, to name a few, has made his sets requested on radio stations in Europe.

In September of 2005 he has again relocated to Cali to learn more about west cost style of mixing and gain more exposure.  From the west coast of the States to as far as  Spain and  England , DJ Sebas Arcabascio is becoming a force to be heard in the arena of Electronic music.

 ARCABASCIO's GOAL:
To continue learning + exploring new artist + genres of music…As long as I luv music I’ll continue making CDs for my fans + myself….If the luv doesn’t fade then neither will my desire…..

ARCABASCIO's VISION:

My dream job would be a Radio DJ or promoter of music + artist….I know that I have an ear for music + talent, but my strength’s aren’t in live mixing per say, but more in the recording phase, editing tracks or re-mixing a track. I love exploring + discovering new upcoming talent + defining different variations of genres of music…

ARCABASCIO's MISSION:

To keep doing what I luv to do on my spare time….That would be listening to new music, finding new artist, researching new equipment + staying humble yet determined in my goal of someday doing this for a living….I live music without a doubt, I want to be evolved in some aspect with either a famous DJ, Record Label , Radio Station or Annual Event to say I have made my dreams come true!

DJ Sebas Arcabascio Mixes:
What’s up + thanks for stopping by to check out my mixes.  Just to let you know all my mixes below are entire sets ranging from 60min to 80min in length.  Below are some suggestions about my mixes that I feel may help you figure out which mix is best for you.

• Erotic - [Trance], this was my first mix, its Old Skool Trance + to be honest the mixing wasn’t all that great but has sum great Trance tracks on it.

 • Set Me Free - [Trance - Highly Recommend], Out of all the mixes that I have I would rate this mix as my best mix thus far.  Most people rate either this mix or Awaken Me as my best mix.  If you’re looking for some pure Old Skool Trance tracks from Oakenfold, Tiesto + Armin Van Burren then this is your mix.

 • Awaken Me - [Trance - Highly Recommend], This mix is pure Trance like Set Me Free + has some great old skool Trance tracks on it,  this is probably my second best mix that I have.  This mix also has some very Old Skool Trance tracks from the same artist as Set Me Free.

 • Alpha + Omega – [House + Trance] this mix follows on the same theme as Set Me Free + Awaken Me except at the end of the mix I add some Old Skool House tracks.

 • Korean Symbols – [House + Trance - Highly Recommend], this mix is when I start getting out of Trance slightly + more into Old Chicago House tracks.  Be warned it starts out with Trance, but after a few tracks the rest is all House.

 • Timeless – [House + Trance], this mix keeps the same theme as Korean Symbols with some more Old Chicago House tracks.  This mix also starts out with Trance, but after a few tracks the rest is all House.

 • Jump Start – [Dance + House – Highly Recommend], on this mix are started to get more into some Dance tracks.  On this mix you will hear more common radio tracks + Top 40 tracks mixed in with some House tracks.

 • Fluid – [Dance + House - Highly Recommend], once again on this mix I follow the same theme as Jump Start but this mix has less Top-40 tracks and more Dance tracks on it.  This mix + Jump Start are my best dance mix.

 • Equilibrium – [Electronic + House + Trance], this mix I wanted to have more edge to it by using Deep House + Electronica tracks.  With tracks from Underworld + Dave Ralph + David Forbes + Paul Oakenfold I tried to make this mix with more variety on it.

 • Cum Ful Circle – [House + Trance], the title says it all, I wanted to go back to pure Trance + start to introduce one of my all-time favorite DJs Pete Tong into this mix.  This mix starts out with pure Old Skool Trance tracks then closes with House tracks from Pete Tong.

 • Euphoria – [Deep House + Trance], on this mix I introduce for the first time another all-time favorite of mine Sander Kleinenberg to this mix.  This mix blends both Deep House tracks with Vocal House tracks + some Trance.

 • Surreal – [Deep House + Trance – Highly Recommend], on this mix I decided to use my top three DJ’s on this mix + it turned out to be the rite choice.  How can you go wrong when u have Sander Kleinenberg, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto + Dave Ralph closing the mix.  Most fans say this is the closest I have come to making as great a mix as Set Me Free.

 • Bac 2 Basics – [Deep House + Trance], the tile says it all, getting to the basics about finding some great old tracks.  I wanted this mix to have attitude, more edge + a faster feel to it.  If you like Layo + Bushwacka this is your mix with some old John Digweed tracks on it.

 • Respect – [Electronica + Trance – Highly Recommend], this mix has more artist on it then any other mix that I have.  The result is another great mix with tons of different genres on it.  I also introduce on this mix Misstress Barbara + local Detroit DJ Kennith Thomas.  If your looking for something new + different this mix as your name on it.

 • Reminisce – [House + Trance – Highly Recommend], on this mix I wanted to take three of my mixes + combine the best tracks from each into one mix.  This mix takes tracks from Awaken Me, Korean Symbols + Timeless into one complete mix.  There are more Old Skool Chicago House tracks on it then Trance.

 • Deutschland – [Trance – Highly Recommend], if you love Paul Van Dyk, then this mix is nothing but 78min of pure trance by PVD.  I used over 13 diffrent sets from 8 locations to but together one hell of a mix perfectly titled Deutschland.

 • Promo Mix – [Electronica - Highly Recommended], I wanted to create a greatest hits kind of thing with this mix.  So what I did was take one track from each of my first 17 mixes.  The result was an awesome mix with lots of great tracks on it.  This mix mainly is Dance, House + Trance

Hi! I have been spending a lot of time listening to your first mix, Erotic, and it has become one of my favorite trance albums. I would like to purchase a copy of the mix, but although I've checked your web site and seen that you accept payments via Paypal.com, I unfortunately cannot find any information on the bit rates available and/or how much I'd have to pay for a copy. Could you please let me have this information at your earliest convenience? Also, which file format(s) do you provide? Another thing, there are some tracks you've included in the mix for which I would love to find the original albums, but I have no idea who the artists are, or even the titles of the songs. Do you have a list of the tracks you've used for Erotic available, and if you do, could I please have a copy to help me find the original tracks? Thank you for your help in this, and keep up the good work! Until earlier today I was completely unaware of the fact that you had other mixes out there, but now that I am aware of the others, I will most certainly give them a listen; I wouldn't be surprised if I end up buying more of these mixes you've done. Best wishes for your continued success! I'll certainly do whatever I can to introduce your music to my friends and associates. Warm regards, Maurice Valmont West Palm Beach, FL

I heard a copy of a mix of yours (I think) from 01/25/2001, with stuff from Oakenfold, Van Buuren, Tiesto, etc. I totally love this mix and wondered what the tracks are and where I can get a copy of it. The mix starts out with a girl's voice talking "The morning, it was, it was like slow motion...". Second song: "is my soul, and my soul needs a change...it is your blood, running through my veins, it is my soul, and my soul needs a change." God...I love this song!! I've gotta find out what is is.
