I was introduced to "electronic culture" by my older sister who began taking me to underground parties in 1999. My love for electronic music goes back to even before my first party, when I discovered "The Prodigy- Music for the jilted generation" in 1995. After that, in 2001 my brother introduced me to a sub-genre style known as "Jungle." I quickly became addicted to this style, especially after they let me play with their turntables for the first time. I knew very quickly that I wanted to buy my own from that moment after.
I am a product of Palm Springs, Riverside, LA, OC, and San Diego party culture. My favorite styles of music range from all styles of drum and bass, to breaks and house, to dubstep, reggae and some hip hop. I wanted to DJ because I like to change it up constantly. Music is emotion, my mood determines what my favorite style at that time may be. I believe there is good and bad in almost every genre, if you look hard enough.
Some of my favorite Djs and producers; Qbert, Planet of the Drums, Ben Sage, Subsonik, Freakyflow, Skratch Bastid, Lomax, Logistics, Chase and Status, Benny Page, Sage and the list could go on.
I am a promoter, networker, dancer, DJ and entertainer.
In the short term, I am excited to be playing outside of California. My long term dream is to travel over seas and spread my sound to venues in the UK, Australia, Spain and so on.
Other than music, my second love is art. I am currently studying graphic design and photography. I also enjoy practicing fire performance and Hawaiian Fire Poi though I am still a novice.
My affiliations include SoCal Selectress, Fire Tribe Entertainment, Organized Noize and Schedule One Media.
My philosophy; everything happens for a reason because there are no coincidences in life.
