Hi. My name is Joseph and I've been spinning EDM for a bit over a year now. I started with uplifting and somewhat mainstream Trance, but over the past year I've "grown" musically into liking Progressive House and Breaks. As of late, I've even been liking Funky and French House. And I still want to do a dark progressive set involving darkwave. I guess my style will refine as my technique does. I've just begun trying to incorporate effects and I'm working on getting my mixing more consistent...right now, some of my mixes are spot on but I haven't eliminated the trainwrecks just yet. Give it another year or so and I should be mostly fluent on 2 decks. I've also just started using Fruity Loops, ReCycle, and Ableton Live with the intent of producing some and doing some remixes. I've got some ideas that I'd like to try out. But it'll take quite a while to figure out how to make them come into being.

Club Emulation Description: Take 2 turntables, 2 CDJs, a laptop running Ableton Live and a couple VSTs and you can emulate a club sound.  I wanted to see what I'd sound like on a BIG sound system, so I set up some post-mixer effects to create it.     Out of the experiment came a banging peak-hour house set...a bit funky, a bit jazzy, a bit electro...all progressive...and all great House.    Enjoy.

We were going to have a sexy party on the beach, and I wasn't going to be able to bring my setup, so I prerecorded something. 14 March 2006 practice Description: Two or three bad mixes and two effects screw ups later, we've got a one-hour journey into progressive featuring some of the best tracks from recent months as well as older gems and b-sides from the past. Enjoy and leave comments, but once again I don't have a tracklist. I took a few chances, especially later on in the mix...overlaying vocals and really quick mixing (as far as prog goes). It ended up with mixed results, but for better or worse, here you go.
