NAVI was first introduced to the new age sounds of Chemical Bros. and Daft Punk throught the airwaves of his then favirote rock station KROQ, in early 1995. This diverse and challangeing sound led him to be intrested, but not yet convinced. Until 2001, when he attended his first live show, and was immensly hooked at the power of the 4/4 beat.
Wide eyed and intrigued by the sounds of this experience he started to have the first contact with decks and vinyls, whilst keeping close with the people that always followed him to the best underground parties. He moved back to Los Angeles in early 2003 to dig deeper into his music knowledge and in summer 2006 got his first chance to showcase his skills for the O.C.Productions party Maydaze, alongside longtime friend M.E.E.K.O, Una Slim, and DJ Arturo.
Soon after his mixes were being played over several internet stations and recieving nothing but great feedback from worldwide listeners. Now the real challange begins, and exposing the sounds of NAVI to greater audiences will always remain his first focus. Don't Talk, Just Listen!
This mix was inspired by the beginning of summer.. Very progressive, with drums and vocals spread throughout.. But always staying true to the dark and dirty basslines. I wanted to capture the feel of a night with a great selection and enough twists and turns to keep it fresh in your mind.. And please, any feedback, either good, or constructive is always appreciated. THANKS for the listen, Enjoy!!

As a promo for this years winter music conference, I put together this 60 min journey through the genres that got me through the begining of the year. Some tech-house, techno, and Minimal tech--But this is actually my interpetation on the Maximal side of tech--It can be taken as the darkest and bleekest mix thus far. Enjoy!

This mix is my interpretation of how dark and gloomy the winter has been..it shows flashes of life in the middle with Dose's 'im you door' but consistently stays dark and filthy...good little 50 min marathon to get techno heart pumping.
