Born and raised in Brooklyn NY, Music was always played at home and was a part of my life.
It wasnt till i was about, 17 in 1989, when i first stepped into the legendary NYC Club: The Palladium (Now a NYU Dorm which took on the name as well The Palladium). With its huge dome and powerful sound system, i was a club of all clubs for its time. The one person who actually took it to another level every friday and saturday nights was, Charlie Cassonova. He created new mixes using accappellas and looping them over beats it was at that moment i wanted to become a Dj...
My lessons of beat matching and the concepts mixing, began in the basement of a good friend of mine Jean Emauel (Dj Fierce). Already a hit throughout the neighborhood for laying out Dance Hall Reggae Parties, he took me under his wing to practiced mixing House and Disco. With hard work and dedication we established gigs throught the city, loft parties,sweet sixteen and birthday parties.
As time went on, i branched off and started to do solo gigs throughout New York, New Jersey amd Philly.
In 2003, I came across an internet radio station catering to the Tri-State New York and New Jersey Djs called: Metro Mix Radio. There, it gave me the chance to expose my mixes to a larger audiance and meet other Dj's within that site..but in 2005, the website shut its doors without a clue in site at the peek of its high, metromixradio, left many resident Djs looking for new homes to showcase thier mixes.
During that time, a fellow dj/promoter (Dj Liquid Touch) also from MetroMixRadio, decided to continue where metro mix left off to form:
Anti Fm Radio. With a fanbase growing...support of the participation of users, and a lineup of up and coming djs, Antifmradio will surpass many interent radio stations out there.....
