Music makes my life complete, it makes me laugh and cry. If there were no music in the world, it would be a very sad place indeed.
 
I'm a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. I play drums and have been into music since I was a young kid. I'm slightly autistic (Aspergers to be specific), and one of my special gifts is in music. I'm not saying I'm "all that", but my brain is definitely wired for music not speech, and I've found that I learn musical patters very quickly. I also think I have excellent taste in ambient, chill and intelligent electronic music.
 
Generally, I mix music for my friends if something inspires me. I used to do holiday mixes and hand them out a presents. I don't really do beat matching because the music varies quite a bit, and it's more chill than not.
 
The process for me is to gather tunes that I think really sound good and try to find the best way to arrange them together. I've also done layering of two tracks at once, such as environmental sounds in the back of a more tonal track.

Stellar Transformation Description: It's been said that some of the greatest works of art are born of the darker emotions. This is one of my first major mix projects and probably the darkest of them all.   Back story: I created this mix a short period after my marriage broke up. The music is emotionally engrossing, complex and ethnocentric.   If you like heavy electronic music, you'll love this mix. If you're hanging out with friends and want something a bit more on the lite side of things, move down one or two mixes!

Good and Evil are One Description: This is probably my favorite mix project. It's beauty and expansive rolling waves of sound are simply gorgeous.   I've always loved science fiction and aliens. This mix creates a very specific visual that it very powerful to me.   This is what I see: 00:00 - An alien craft is approaching the earth. You can hear the various sounds from inside the ship and it approaches the earth. You can feel the dark vacuum of space around you.   01:30 - As the craft gets closer to our planet Earth, the sensors start picking up signals from our own communication systems. The being views a screen where the computer picks up all kinds of visuals from various part of the globe. It creates a high speed slideshow of all aspects of human kind, from images of great beauty, love and brotherhood to the ugliness of war, famine and human cruelty. If you've ever seen the parts where Leeloo in The 5th Element goes through a crash course in Human history, that's what it looks like.   02:45 - Military jets are scrambled to attempt to intercept the ship. You start to hear communications back and forth between the jet interceptors.   04:00 - The ship begins to descend over the Atlantic Ocean, traveling to it's destination underneath the water.   04:20 - The spacecraft hits the water and begins to travel into the dark of the sea. The final destination - an underwater base deep enough to be undiscovered by human kind. This base was been established for hundreds of years as a safe place to doc without being bothered by the surface dwellers above.
