Musicwise It all started for me in the beginning of 1992 with some great (outdoor)-raves when I was living in Hayward California close to the friendly city of San Fransisco. I returned to Holland at the end of 1992 and from then onwards it was the freetekno parties in Holland and Europe that have been inspiring me, my brother Finsent took me to my first "tekno" party here in Holland. Hardly did I realise what a musical treat I had just witnessed as ferenc and curley were dj-ing while a spiral-tribe delegation was doing their thing live at the same time.... I bought the sp23-X- mixtape, and it forever changed the lifes of me and my brother, and surely, many around us ! We have always favoured the energeticacid and breakbeat records that were on that tape! We ended up embarking on a great road ful of musical discoveries while learning loads about musicmaking and dj-ing, but then .... In 2004 my dear brother Finsent sadly died along with his girlfriend Michelle as a result of an accident while they were on snowboarding holiday in Alpe d'Huez France. For me, having previously lost good friends, this was the ultimate wake up call... making me realise that life here, could all be over any given moment and that no matter how much you love life, you do not decide when you go, but you DO decide what you do untill it is that time... As I left the mad rat race with suits and ties in 2001 I am so thankfull for the years I did get to spend with my brother, diving deep into the world of electronic music... I will keep doing what feels right, colouring each and every day with its special colours, instead of living the black and white - soon to be forgotten which day it was - days .....
Right now I'm trying to focus on the release of my own record labels (accu records and wide awake records) with music from me and my brother and in the near future I will be releasing music from some friends and any other artists whose music tickles my ears... so there is a job to be done, music to be made, energy to be shifted ... we are :
