Rushton "Hayes" Starns first learned about electronic music at the age of 14 but thought it was just ordinary upbeat music and he completly fell in love with it. He grew up and forgot about this music until one day he walked into a local club known as Monkey Business and heard the same type of music being played. He once was reunited with the music he once loved and Hayes got hooked into the club scene and kept going there religiously. When He finally owned a pair of turntables and mixer he found that life actually made sense to him that everything in the world meant something when he practiced spinning Trance music. It was like he recognized the difference and impact it made on his life. He has also been quoted "I never regret the day I walked into that club it changed my entire life" This kid is a force to be reckoned with. With his passion and determination he will go far in the world of Electronic Dance Music.
Also heres a little something I wrote to read and reflect on.
Every day this individual wakes up shaking off the bad nightmares of turmoil and grief. Every day he wakes up almost in tears because of the past seems to still reek havoc on an already stressed and withered body. So he pushes him self off his bed in his home where he sleeps alone in the middle of the woods where nothing can bother him. Goes and does the normal routine of shower, brushing teeth, eating, and fixing his lunch for work and before he leaves the house to go bust his little behind off for 10hrs. He looks in the mirror and says to himself "i know life has been rough so no need in taking it out on someone else dreams are just dreams" he kisses the peace sign his fingers make and touchs the mirror and off he leaves for work.
While working he puts on a forced smile to hold back the painful memories that lurk inside his deep soul and trys his best to be friendly. Which luckily he has adapted to becoming used to choking back tears and smiling as if nothing is wrong when he wants to just break down and cry. and even more so luckier to have able to learn how to be the most loving and humorous individual. I quess turning apples into oranges if one would say. There really isnt no love in this youngmans life except his Dad and his passion of Electronic music(more specifically Trance music). Trance his devotion his whole world wrapped around crazy little melodys, Trance the queen of his heart and the drive to keep him going when all hope is lost, Trance music the savior of his life!! Through many conversations with many DJ's of there passion and desire for Electronic music led this kid to start thinking how he could save the world.
One day he had this crazy astronomical idea that what if he become good at DJing...what if he could change the world with Trance music the way it changed him?....What if he touched people with the sounds of Trance?....What if he started a REVOLUTION!! THEN ONLY THEN WOULD HIS GOAL IN LIFE TO TOUCH OTHER PEOPLE WITH LOVE, PEACE, HOPE, AND JOY BE COMPLETE!!!!!! This kid I have been writing about is me. Rushton "Hayes" Starns just call me Hayes.Also known as DJHayes. People I ask you one thing will you start a revolution? Can you take what bad life has giving you and turn it around for something good that may effect someone elses life? Can you make a difference with a smile to someone when you really dont feel like smiling? Can you look in the mirror and say IM GONNA START A REVOLUTION??
I am personally making it my will and my goal in my short life I have left to start a revolution of trance music to touch the world with one beat at a time...just ...one...tiny...beat..at...a...time...You have read my dream take it serious theses words are true 100% from my heart.
